Aromatherapy: an art and science founded in nature.  In aromatherapy essential oils, along with other natural and plant based matter (such as floral waters, butters, herbal oils and carrier oils), are blended to bring harmony and balance to the body, mind, emotions and spirit.  It is an effective complimentary holistic modality and can be adapted to your needs and routines.  

Forest & Field is owned and operated by Clinical Aromatherapist, Carol Foy in central Alberta.  Offering a variety of products, personal clinical aromatherapy consultations and custom product creation, all of the products are created in small batches using high quality natural ingredients, tested by family and friends, with values of sustainability.  If you have questions about any of the products and services, or would like to book a consultation, please contact me.

General Aromatherapy Cautions & Safety

I hope you enjoy using your Forest & Field products! Please remember, the products made by Forest & Field are for external use only and are not to be ingested.  Forest & Field uses only pure high quality essential oils, no synthetic or “nature identical” fragrances.  Even though the ingredients in our products are all natural, it is still possible to have a sensitivity or an allergy to them, please discontinue use if any irritation occurs.  If you have epilepsy, high or low blood pressure, are pregnant or nursing, or have any other health conditions,  please consult a health care professional prior to use.  Great care should be taken with the use of essential oils and children: children under 1 years of age should not be exposed to essential oils (including a diffuser in your home) unless under specific professionally supervised scenarios.  Certain oils are not appropriate for children under 12.  The Forest & Field kids line of products are blended only using child safe oils in low concentrations and intended for periodic use only.  Our products are made by hand in small batches using only natural fresh ingredients and some naturally derived preservatives, and therefor will have a shorter shelf life.  Depending on how products are stored, preferably away from heat and light, products should last up to 12 month, roll on products and diffuser blends may last up to 2 years.  Always avoid getting products near your eyes.
